No training, no match, no problem.

For 6 weeks The Hornets haven’t been able to kick a ball yet they still put on one of their best displays of the season so far.

The whole team, which included Ben, Louis, Sam, Danny, Robert A, Robert W, Nick, Alex, Matt, Brandon, Jake P, Chris, Kirk, Jack and Leo, played well and worked hard for each other.

To their credit Lawford United went 1-0 up but Chris equalised with a good shot and Nick scored a superb second after great work down the right wing from Robert W.

Chris got his second with another fine finish to make the half time score 3-1.

In the second half the boys were given the opportunity to gain experience in different positions through rotation, but that still didn’t stop Brandon from getting his second goal for The Hornets or stop Chris getting his hat trick.

Well-played Hornets, good start to 2010, keep it up.
