What a difference belief in your ability can make!

The opposition was the same as last week, the four-goal margin was the same as last week, but The Hornets were so different.

The half time score last week was 4 - 1 to Warwick, this week it was 1 – 0, and that goal came in the final minute of the half.

The Hornets gave everything in that first half, they fought, tackled, headed, ran and passed the ball as if their very lives depended on it.

Not only did they match Warwick Juniors in every department, they were possibly the better team and were definitely unlucky to be 1 - 0 down at half time.

Unfortunately The Hornets couldn’t keep up that pace in the second half and there was no disgrace in losing to a better team, especially when they had given everything they possibly could.

THE HORNETS MADE EVERY ONE OF THEIR PARENTS PROUD – WELL DONE.

The squad was Danny, Jack, Chris, Jake P, Jake T, Robert A, Robert W, Kirk, Matt, Nick, Ben, Sam, Brandon and Leo.
