Balsall started this game in fine fashion and looked most likely to score in the first 15 minutes, however it took a further 10 minutes before they took a well deserved lead. Further goals should have made it a fairly comfortable half time score but CtK always looked dangerous on the break and at a setpiece they equalised 5 minutes before half time. It was a confident team talk that focussed on the positives of the first half and Balsall went out with renewed energy which was rewarded with another goal.Balsall's third only a few minutes after was a superb thirty five yard strike from matt who had spotted the goakeeper out of his box. A fourth followed with Ctk then scoring a second however the final 15 minutes saw Balsall play some superb football followed with some sublime finishing to make the final score 8 - 2.
